Position Overview:
A highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician is needed to join the OAC team based in Charlotte, NC. The candidate will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various commercial HVAC systems. This includes ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This is a vital part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional service and maintaining the commitment to excellence.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience is required.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Vocational training is preferred.
- North Carolina HVAC license (Heating Group and Class relevant to the scope of work, and/or Refrigeration Contractor
- license if applicable) is required.
- EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are needed.
- The ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints is required.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, gauges, and meters is required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required.
- The ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed, potentially including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
