Available Position: Administrative Specialist

Position Overview:
The Administrative Specialist shall work with the Corporate Controller to perform bookkeeping and administrative tasks associated with the company and client accounts. The ideal candidate shall be a self-starting, detail oriented, and energetic individual with great verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will demonstrate core competencies in the following areas:
- Monitor emails, voice mails relay messages or respond accordingly
- Gathering and sorting mail, email, documents and related information
- Input receivables, check payments and electronic payments to accounting programs
- Input payables, credit cards, bills and invoices to accounting programs
- Process approved payables via online banking, ACH, wire and paper check
- Process bank account reconciliations
- Collect electronic data from various sources, prepare and deliver periodic reporting
- Maintain regular phone and virtual communication with clients as needed
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of account
- All other duties as assigned and associated with the day-to-day office operations
Desired Skills, Experience & Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Possess mathematical aptitude
- Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Experience with managing administrative tasks
- Detail oriented, analytical and computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Organized with ability to multi-task while keeping track of priorities and maintaining big-picture focus
- A proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Superior communications skills, both verbal and written
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
Compensation:
- Starting Annual Salary: $50,000.00
- Paid Holidays Off: Nine (9) Major holidays and supporting days
- Paid Time Off: Five (5) personal days
- Unpaid Time Off: Per company policy
- Health, Dental & Vision Insurance: None, unless the company offers such benefits to all employees
